Hyderabad: Pawan Kalyan who is currently busy with politics is set to begin shooting for his next film. He is juggling two to three films. One of them is ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu,’ the other is ‘OG,’ which is said to be the tentative title for his next with Sujeeth. The Sujeeth directorial was launched on Monday in Hyderabad and will go on the floors soon.
‘OG’ is going to be the remake of the Tamil blockbuster film ‘Theri’ starring Thalapathy Vijay. ‘Bheemla Nayak’ and ‘Vakeel Saab’ were also remakes and Pawan Kalyan’s fans are not eager to see their favourite actor in another remake. Besides this, the film is being directed by Sujeeth. His first film was ‘Run Raja Run’ and the second was ‘Saaho.’
While the first one was a hit, the second one was a disaster. So, Pawan Kalyan’s fans aren’t happy with Sujeeth directing the actor. There is a lot of negativity on social media about this project and we have to wait and see where this goes.
The film, written and directed by Sujeeth, will be bankrolled by top producer D.V.V Danayya under DVV Entertainment, the banner that backed the globally popular Oscar-nominated ‘RRR’ in 2022. The pooja ceremony of the prestigious film was held at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad on Monday.
Cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran will crank the camera for the film and A.S. Prakash will handle production design. S Thaman who scored the music for Pawan Kalyan’s super hit ‘Bheemla Nayak’ will compose music for this film, too. D.V.V. Danayya has assured the audience of a film that’ll be a feast for action junkies and the star’s fans. Other details about the film’s cast and crew will be shared soon.
