The police also seized three cell phones from the boys.
According to the police, the CCL boys used to roam the outskirts of their school's locality after school hours and used to watch porn on their mobile phones.
The boys reportedly had their eyes on one of their classmates, and in August 2022, they sexually assaulted her at her home in the absence of her family. One of them captured the act on a cell phone. After 10 days, two of the CCL boys went to the girl's home and sexually abused her again and recorded it on their cell phone. When they shared the video with friends through WhatsApp, the girl narrated the entire incident to her parents. The parents approached the Hayathnagar police and lodged a complaint against the CCL boys.
After a medical examination of the girl and other procedures, the CCL boys were produced before the Juvenile Justice Board for further action.
