TDP-Jana Sena manifesto: Free bus travel for women, monthly Rs 3,000 unemployment aid, scrapping of AP Land Titling Act

Vijayawada: Free bus travel for women, running the State administration from Amaravati and a Rs 10,000 honorarium for village and ward volunteers, among others, have been promised by the TDP-Jana Sena alliance in their election manifesto released on Tuesday.

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu, along with Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday released the joint manifesto for the ensuing 2024 Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh.

The State will go for the elections on May 13 and the results will be declared on June 4. Speaking to the media, Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan said that the manifesto is prepared based on the considerations made by various sections of the people in the state through online and offline modes.

Naidu chooses Amaravati as head quarters and also promised to begin his administration from Amaravati soon after the NDA alliance came to power.

• 20 lakh job opportunities for youth in the next five years.
• An Unemployment Allowance of Rs 3,000 per month would be given to jobless youth until they find jobs.
• Rs 15,000 annually to every child enrolled in school under the Thalliki Vandanam scheme.
• A financial assistance of Rs 20,000 annually to the farmers.
• Three gas cylinders free of cost to every household annually under the Deepam scheme.
• Rs 1,500 monthly to every woman over the age of 18 years under the Aada Bidda Nidhi scheme.
• Free bus travel for women.
• Rs 4,000 welfare pension for the elderly people from April.
